(別忘了關(guān)上冰箱門。)gate一般指的是院落四周墻上的門，都是比較大的門。(戶外的門)大門院門登機(jī)口（由此通向了外邊，離開了這座大廈）

newspapers報紙（合成詞）

news新聞（不可數(shù)名詞）當(dāng)表明一條新聞時，用apieceofnews，或者說apieceofnewsreport，因為news不可數(shù)。用apieceofnews的時候，比較書面體。當(dāng)news的意思是消息或者信息的時候，不用apieceofnews，而用somenews，比如I'vegotsomenewsforyou，給你捎來了一些消息。用somenews的時候，更加口語化。a
