TheWoodlandinAustraliaLecturer:GuoZhiwenForestisthemainbodyofterrestrialecosystemandthematerialbasisforthesurvivalanddevelopmentofhumansociety.Itplaysanirreplaceableroleinmeetingtheneedsofpeople'sproductionandlife,improvinghumanlivingenvironment,maintainingglobalecologicalbalanceandensuringnationalecologicalsecurity.Australiahas157millionhectaresofwoodland,including156millionhectaresofnaturalforest,accountingfor99.4%,and1millionhectaresofplantation.Themainforesttypeisbroad-leavedforest.97%ofthetreespeciesareeucalyptusandAcer.Therearemorethan600speciesofEucalyptusalone;NewSouthWales,

21millionhectares,13.4%ofthenationalforestarea,andtheforestcoveragerateis18.5%.Victoria,7.4millionhectares,4.7%ofthenationalforestarea,theforestcoveragerateis33.6%.Queensland,33millionhectares,21%ofthenationalforestarea,theforestcoveragerateis19%."Clearwatersandgreenmountainsareasgoodasmountainsofgoldandsilver."Inrecentyears,China'sforestresourceshaveshownagoodtrendofcontinuousincreaseinquantity,steadyimprovementinqualityandcontinuousenhancementinefficiency.AccordingtoAustralianofficials,sincetheforestfireseasonbeganinJuly2019,hightemperatureanddroughthavecausedforestfirestoravageAustralia.AsofJuly28,2020,morethan20peoplehavebeenkilled,morethan2000houseshavebeendestroyed,or3billionan
