業(yè)務(wù)英語(yǔ)江蘇海事職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院港航CoreTermsContentsMTO01MTD02elements/factors03MTOMultimodaltransportoperatorisanypersonwhoonhisownbehalforthroughanotherpersonactingonhisbehalfconcludesanMTC(multimodaltransportcontract)andwhoactsasaprincipal,notasanagentoronbehalfoftheconsignororofthecarriersparticipatingintmultimodaltransportoperationsandwhoassumesresponsibilityfortheperformanceofthecontract.WhatanMTOlooksforMinimizingcostMinimumhandlingStandardproceduresandminimumdocumentationHassle-freebordercrossingwithminimumdetentionSecurityofcargo(Containerizationensuresmuchofthese)convenientMTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:thegeneralnatureofthegoods,theleadingmarksnecessaryforidentificationofthegoods,andexpressstatement,ifapplicable,astothedangerouscharacterofthegoods,thenumberofpackagesorpieces,andthegrossweightofthegoodsortheirquantityotherwiseexpressed,allsuchparticularsasfurnishedbytheconsignor;01MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:theapparentconditionofthegoods;thenameandprincipalplaceofbusinessoftheMTO;02MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:thenameoftheconsignor;03consignee,ifnamedbytheconsignor;04theplaceanddateoftakinginchargeofthegoodsbyMTO;05MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:theplaceofdeliveryofthegoods;06thedateortheperiodofdeliveryofthegoodsattheplaceofdelivery,ifexpresslyagreeduponbetweentheparties;07MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:astatementindicatingwhethertheMTDisnegotiableornon-negotiable;08theplaceanddateofissueoftheMTD;09thesignatureoftheMTOorofapersonhavingauthorityfromhim;10MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:thefreightforeachmodeoftransport,ifexpresslyagreedbetweentheparties,orthefreightincludingitscurrency,totheextentpayablebytheconsigneeorotherindicationthatfreightispayablebyhim11MTDMultimodaltransportdocument(MTD)shallcontainthefollowingparticulars:theintendedjourneyroute,modesoftransportandplacesoftransshipment,ifknownatthetimeofissuanceoftheMTD;12anyotherparticularswhichthepartiesmayagreetoinsertintheMTD,ifnotinconsistentwiththelawofthecountrywhereMTDisissued.13Elementsforimplementingmultimodaltransportidealpracticesforthetransportmodesinvolved(lowtransportcost,highfrequency,highconnectivity,andhighqualityofserivice);1adequateterminalinfrastructure;2Elementsforimplementingmultimodaltransportefficientinterfaces(interoperablesea/rail/roadnetworks);3implementationofactionsandmeasuresforthepromotionofintermodaltransport;4Elementsforimplementingmultimodaltransportintegratedinfrastructureandtransportmeans;5multimodalandinterconnectedoperations;6Elementsforimplementingmultimodaltransportmode-independentservicesandregulations(harmonizationandstandardizationofproceduresandEDI);7establishinganappropriatemultimodalliabilityregime;8Elementsforimplementingmultimodaltr
