mostthankfulforisthefactthatIhavegrownupinanationwith

agrandtraditionofoptimism.Whenawholecultureadoptsanupward

look,incrediblethingscanbeaccomplished.Whentheworldisseen

asahopeful,positiveplace,peopleareempoweredtoattemptand

toachieve.

expression.Tknowhabitscanbelearnedandunlearned.Butisalso

knowitisntaquickfix.Itinvolvesaprocessandatremendous

commitment.

ThoseofuswhowatchedthelunarvoyageofApollo11were

transfixedaswesawthefirstmenwalkonthemoonandreturnto

earth.Buttogetthere,thoseastronautsliterallyhadtobreak

Likeanynaturalforce,gravitypullcanworkwithusoragainst

us.Thegravitypullofsomeofourhabitsmaycurrentlybekeeping

usfromgoingwherewewanttogo.Butitisalsogravitypullthat

keepsourworldtogether,thatkeepstheplanetsintheirorbits

andouruniverseinorder.Itisapowerfulforce,andifweuse

iteffectively,wecanusethegravitypullofhabittocreatethe
