Whatwordswillyouthinkofonhearingmagic?(Writedownatleasttwowords)Groupwork.Canyouplaymagictricks?Eachgroupshowsamagictricktotheclass.amazingunbelievableinterestingmysteriouscharmImpromptuMindReadingThismysterycanbedonejustaboutanyplacewithordinaryobjects.Tolearntoplaythetrick,readtheinstructionbelowinpairs.Inthistrick,sevendifferentobjectsarearrangedonthetable:apen,acoin,acellphone,aspoon,afork,acupandakeyringwithsomekeysonit.Themagicianwritesapredictiononapieceofpaper,foldsitinhalf,andplacesitonthetableunderaspectator'shand.Themagicianandanotherspectatortaketurnsselectingobjectsfromamongthesevenonthetableandeliminatingthem.Onlyoneobjectremainsonthetableattheend,lefttherebychance.Yet,whenthepredictionisunfoldedandreadaloud,youhavecorrectlypredictedwhichobjectwouldremain.Important:Youshoulddefinitelyplacetheobjectsoutabitmoresoyourhandsaren'tcrampedwhenyoucoverthem.Thefollowingaretwotasksheets,whichshowhowthemagictrickisplayed.WorkwithyourgroupwithhalfofyoureadingSheetAandtheotherSheetB.Duringyourreading,youshouldsummarizeeachstepinyourTaskSheetandwritedownyourpredictionofthenextstep.SheetAStep1●Anyoddnumberofdifferentobjects,withaminimumoffive,canbeused.Let'sassumethattherearesevenobjects:apen,acoin,acellphone,aspoon,afork,acup,andakeyringwithsomekeysonit.Theseshouldbeborrowedfromspectatorsortakenfromthingsalreadyonthetable.BecauseI'musingafork,aspoon,andacup,youcantellthatI'mprobablydoingthisforsomeoneinarestaurant.●Youalsoneedaslipofpaperandapenormarker.Summaryofthisstep:Step2Whatwouldthisstepbeabout?SheetAStep3Ifyou'reperformingforasingleperson,thenjusthavethatspectatorputthepredictioninhisorherpocketsotheperson'shandsarefree.●Chooseanotherspectatortoassistyou.●Youmustgofirst:coveranytwoobjectsonthetable,oneunderyourlefthand,theotherunderyourright.Youmaychooseanytwooftheobjects,butneverchoosetheobjectyou'vepredicted—inthiscase,thekeys.Summaryofthisstep:
