2、d works in factories. Secondly, to meet the demand of the development of society, we need more and more persons with ability to make contribution for it. They must be taught professional skills and abundant knowledge as their support. Thus it seems like millions of accurate tools support the running
3、 of a never ending engine. In my opinion, may be “trained” can describes this phenomenon more properly compare to “educated”. Because it is not the ultimate aim of education which should be focus on far beyond that. Firstly, educations should help students develop their own views of life ,equip them
4、 with morality and form a healthy attitude towards life. It is often the case that we see a lot of students do something extremely harmful to our society. So whats wrong with our education? We really need to make a self-examination about it. For example, last year when policemen finally caught the c
5、riminal who snatched thousands of people pin number and stolen about 2 million RMB from a range of bank account by hacker attack, they found he was only a college student. He used his network skills learned at school to make financial crime. I doublet such education would be good to students and soc
6、iety. Apart from this, a hot topic recently arouse people attention. A former Fudan university student Lin Senhao was charged with intentional homicides for the killing of his roommate,which almost surprised the whole society. This is because Lin was not educated properly in the emotional management
7、 thus form a unhealthy view about life. Our education shouldnt pay special attention to the grades but also should feature them with all-around development. Therefore our education can be better. Secondly, our education should teach students to know well about themselves and learn by themselves. As
8、socrates said: “know yourself.” For example, as the famous American writer Thoreau wrote in his book Walden,or Life in the Woods: “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I
9、came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear.” the ultimate aim of education should teach students to explore the true meaning of life. And I believe that Thoreau finally found the heaven in his heart. Our education shouldnt be like a machine that produce so many
