云南省隴川縣第一中學高一英語unit2 healthy eating教學設計(一)warming up, reading and comprehending一、teaching content1. talk about the problems with diet.2. talk about balanced diet and nutrition.二、important words and phrases1. balance n. 天平;平衡 v. 平衡;權衡-balanced adj. 平衡的;公平的;平和的 keep ones balance 保持平衡 lose ones balance 失去平衡 eg. we all appreciate a balanced outlook on life.2. diet n. 日常飲食;食物 a balanced diet 均衡的飲食 be on a diet 照規(guī)定飲食 go on a diet 節(jié)食 eg. do you eat a healthy diet?辨析:diet和food都可作“食物”解,它們的區(qū)別如下:diet指的是習慣吃的食物或規(guī)定的食物,特指維持健康的定量或定質是食物,為可數(shù)名詞;food是一般用法,凡是能吃能喝的具有營養(yǎng)的東西都稱為food,為不可數(shù)名詞,但在表示食品的種類時,可以用復數(shù)。 eg. i like chinese food and drink very much.3. be tired of sb./doing sth. 對.感到厭倦eg. i am tired of eating the same food for lunch. be tired from 因.而疲倦 be tired out 筋疲力盡的辨析:tired和tiring的用法區(qū)別: tired意思為“疲憊的,累的”,用于描述人,通常用be tired, look tired等結構; tiring意思為“令人厭倦的,使人疲勞的”,指某事或者某人使人厭倦,情感上不再予以理睬而回避。eg. this is a tiring marriage.4. put on weight 體重增加 lose weight 體重減輕;減肥5. curiosity n. 好奇心;求知欲-curious adj. 好奇的;求知欲強的-curiously adv. 好奇地 curiosity常跟介詞about或動詞不定式to do連用。 out of curiosity出于好奇 satisfy ones curiosity 滿足好奇心eg. children have a natural curiosity about the world around them. i have a curiosity to see what would happen next.6. get away with.(做壞事)不受懲罰;未受懲罰就輕易逃脫.;被放過eg. i wont have you getting away with cheating in the exam. get across解釋清楚;使人了解 get on/along with進展;與.相處 get around/round走動;(消息)傳開 get down to開始;著手7. lie n. 謊言 v. 撒謊 tell a lie 說謊注意:動詞lie的變化形式: 意思為“撒謊“時:lie-lied-lied-lying-lies;意思為“躺,平躺”時:lie-lay-lain-lying-lies;動詞lay意思為“放下,下蛋”時:lay-laid-laid-laying-lays.8. too much 太多,用來修飾名詞,也可單獨使用,指代不可數(shù)名詞; much too= far too 太多,用來修飾形容詞、副詞。eg. the teacher gave us too much homework today. i am much too pleased to see you.9. win back 贏回;重新獲得eg. how can i win back her trust?10. strength n. 力;力量;長處;強項辨析:strength/energy/force/powerstrength常指“人的力氣,體力”或“毅力,意志力”;energy多指人的“精力,活力”,還可以指物理學中的“能量”;force指“勢力,武力,暴力,軍隊”,也指物理學中的“力”;power普通用詞,多指“動力,能力,權利”等。三、sentence structures1wang peng sat in his empty restaurant feeling very frustrated. (p10, reading)feeling very frustrated是-ing形式短語作伴隨狀語,與句子的主語屬主謂關系。-ed形式也可作伴隨狀語,與句子的主語屬動賓關系。eg. they came into the classroom, talking and laughing. the old man sat surrounded by his children.2. what could have happened? (p10, reading)something terrible must have happened if li chang was not coming to eat in his restaurant as he always did. (p10, reading)could have done用于疑問句中,表示對過去的推測,“可能已經.嗎?”;must have done用于肯定句中,表示對過去的肯定推測,“一定已經.”;如果表示否定推測,則用couldnt/cant have done表示。eg. he must have returned to his hometown.3. “nothing could be better,” he thought. (p10, reading)“否定詞+比較級”表示最高級的含義,肯定的語氣。意思為“沒有.更.”eg. i think nothing is more important than learning english.4. suddenly he saw his friend li chang hurrying by. (p10, reading) see sb. doing 看見某人干某事eg. i saw my friend lucy walking outside.5. but li chang seemed not to hear. (p10, reading) seem to do sth. 似乎做某事 eg. he seems to have a high opinion of you. it seems that.似乎. eg. it seems that i have heard of it somewhere.6. ill help you lose weight and be fit in two weeks if you eat here every day. (p10, reading) if引起條件狀語從句,從句應使用一般現(xiàn)在時表示將來。 eg. if you dont let me go now, ill be late. (1)引起條件狀語從句的從屬連詞還有unless(除非),so(as) long as (只要),in case (萬一)等。 (2)時間狀語從句同樣適用一般現(xiàn)在時表示將來。 eg. it will be half a year before i come back.7. he could not have yong hui getting away with telling people lies. (p10, reading) (1) have sb./sth. doing sth. 讓某人做某事;讓某事發(fā)生 eg. i have them all talking in english to each other. (2) have sb. do sth 使某人做某事 eg. no one can have tom do this. (3) have sth. done 包含兩層含義,一是請別人做某事,二是承擔外界或別人做某事的后果。、 eg. youd better have you hair cut, for its too long for a boy. i had my wallet stolen on the bus.8. why dont you sit down and try a meal? ( p14) why dont you.?表示提出建議,意思為“為什么不?” eg. why dont you stop working and have a rest?9. dont you get tired quickly? (p15) dont you.?是否定疑問句,這類句子并非真正詢問,而是表示說話者的觀點和態(tài)度。 eg. dont you become slim in these days?10. “according to my research, neither your restaurant nor mine offers a balanced diet,” explained wang peng.
