Period 1(Section A 1a2c)天長實(shí)驗(yàn)中學(xué) 陳大琴單元分析本單元的中心話題是談?wù)撎鞖? 整個(gè)單元的內(nèi)容圍繞天氣展開聽、說、讀、寫的活動。通過本單元的學(xué)習(xí)使學(xué)生掌握描述天氣的基本詞匯及對天氣的提問,學(xué)會準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)自己對某種天氣的喜好并說明原因,學(xué)會做天氣預(yù)報(bào),學(xué)生敘述在不同的天氣背景下做什么。通過以上活動,使學(xué)生能夠在實(shí)踐中體會到學(xué)習(xí)英語的樂趣,更積極地運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語言,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在實(shí)際生活中綜合運(yùn)用所學(xué)語言能力。教學(xué)目標(biāo)1、作學(xué)習(xí)重點(diǎn)詞匯: raining, sunny, cloudy, snowing , windy, hot ,cool, warm,和部分現(xiàn)在分詞。2、 掌握描繪天氣狀態(tài)的形容詞及現(xiàn)在分詞,并學(xué)會其特殊疑問句、一般疑問句的用法及回答。教學(xué)重點(diǎn)A 學(xué)習(xí)并掌握記匯: raining, sunny, cloudy, snowing , windy, hot ,cool, warm B 熟練掌握現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的用法; 學(xué)會表達(dá)對不同天氣的不同態(tài)度及原因。教學(xué)難點(diǎn) 學(xué)會描述人們在不同的天氣里所做的各種活動。教具:PPTTeaching aims1、Words:rain,windy,cloudy,sunny,snow,weather,Moscow,Boston,hows,bad,terrible, cool, cold, warm, hot2、Sentence structures: Hows it going? Hows the weather? Whats the weather like? Important points A new way of greetings and the description words about the weather.Difficult pointsHows the weather? Its raining/windy/cloudy/sunny/snowing/. Hows it going? Great! /Not bad! /Terrible! /Pretty good!Teaching procedures Step1. Warming up1. Ask the Ss to look at some pictures. Ask and answer: Whats she/he doing? Is she/he ?2. Learn some new words: rainy, rain, snow, snowy, cold, wind, windy, sunny, hot.3. Ask the Ss to watch a weather report to lead into the new lesson.3. Teach the new sentences: Hows the weather? Whats the weather like?Step2. Presentation 1. Show more pictures to ask and answer in pairs using the sentence structures and words: -Hows the weather? /Whats the weather like?-Its raining./ snowing./ windy./ cloudy.2. Read the new words together.3. Practice with the new structure by the whole class: Choose several to the front.4. Let the Ss know about the weather signs. Then ask and answer about the weather report by showing the weather signs and the maps.5. Match the words with the pictures in 1a.Step3. Practice and listening test1. Play the tape and get Ss to write the city names in the boxes. Check the answers. Look at the 5 pictures in 1a. Encourage Ss to use the description words to describe the weather: Beijingsunny and warm/hot Shanghaicloudy and cool Bostonwindy and cool Moscowsnowing and cold Torontoraining and humid. 2. Practice the conversations on the phone with the structures: Hows the weather? and Whats the weather like? with the 5 pictures. Note: Talking about the weather is quite common in western countries as a daily greeting.3. Listen and number the pictures (2a). Before listening, ask the Ss who they are on the phone.4. Check the answers. Then ask them to guess the answers in 2b before listening again and check them together. Step4. Weather reportShow a weather map of Anhui. Get Ss to make a weather report as a weather broadcaster. They may begin with asking the weather in each city, then make up a report about it.Step5. Summary Summarize the words and the sentences that weve learnt.Step6. Homework1. Copy the new words 4 t
