1、在“七彩云南”生物多樣性保護國際論壇上的歡迎辭云南省人民政府副省長  顧朝曦2007年10月17日尊敬的李干杰副局長，各位來賓、女士們、先生們：上午好！今天，由國家環(huán)境保護總局和云南省人民政府共同主辦，亞洲開發(fā)銀行、歐洲委員會、德國技術公司協(xié)辦的“七彩云南”生物多樣性保護國際論壇隆重開幕了。在此,我代表云南省人民政府，向出席論壇的各位來賓表示熱烈的歡迎。云南地處中國西南邊陲，與緬甸、越南、老撾接壤，邊境線長4060公里，在39.4萬平方公里的土地上居住著漢、彝、哈尼、壯、傣、苗等26個民族4500萬人。由于復雜、獨特的地理環(huán)境和多樣化的氣候條件，云南幾乎囊括了中國所有的陸地生態(tài)系統(tǒng)類

2、型，成為世界上生物多樣性最為豐富的地區(qū)之一。我們已建立了自然保護區(qū)192個，保護區(qū)面積占全省國土面積的 8.5%；西雙版納和高黎貢山2 個國家級自然保護區(qū)加入了“世界人與生物圈保護區(qū)網(wǎng)絡”；昭通大山包、香格里拉納帕海和碧塔海、麗江拉市海4個國家和省級自然保護區(qū)被列入“國際重要濕地名錄”；滇西北“三江并流”地帶和石林被列為世界自然遺產(chǎn)地；建立了10多個植物園和樹木園、10多處野生動植物馴養(yǎng)繁殖中心和野生動物收容拯救中心，對野生動植物進行遷地保護，開展了動植物胚胎、體細胞、生殖細胞、基因庫等離體保護工作，為世界生物多樣性保護做出了貢獻。為實現(xiàn)全省經(jīng)濟社會又好又快的發(fā)展目標,云南省全面啟動實施了“七

3、彩云南保護行動”，以促進人與自然和諧相處，經(jīng)濟社會與環(huán)境協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展。  此次論壇的召開，將對推進生物多樣性保護的國際合作，促進生物多樣性保護和可持續(xù)利用產(chǎn)生積極而重要的影響。讓我們攜起手來，尊重自然，保護環(huán)境，發(fā)揚文化，延續(xù)歷史！最后，我代表云南省人民政府對國家環(huán)境保護總局、亞行、歐洲委員會和德國技術公司，以及國內(nèi)外關心和支持云南環(huán)保事業(yè)的機構、組織和環(huán)保界人士再次表示衷心的感謝。預祝本次會議取得圓滿成功，祝各位來賓在云南期間身體健康，工作順利，萬事如意！謝謝大家。英文歡迎辭“Colorful Yunnan” International Forum on Biodiversity Co

Deputy-Minister Li Ganjie, dear guests, ladies and gentlemen,Good morning!Today, the “Colorful Yunnan” International Forum on Biodiversity Conservation, co-sponsored by t

5、he State Environmental Protection Administration of China and the Peoples Government of Yunnan Province, with great assistance from Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Commission, and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), is formally commenced. Its a pleasure for me, on behalf of Peoples Government

6、 of Yunnan Province, to extend a warm welcome to all guests present here today. Yunnan is located at the southwest frontier of China, sharing 4,060km long border with Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos. 45 million people from 26 nationalities, such as Han, Yi, Hani, Zhuang, Dai and Miao, are living on this

7、land of 394,000km2.  Owing to complicated and unique landform and various climate types, Yunnan has nearly all types of terrestrial ecosystems in China, and is one of the places enjoying the richest biodiversity. Presently, there are 192 nature reserves already set up in Yunnan, the protected a

8、rea accounts for 8.5% of the total land area. Two national nature reserves, Xishuangbanna and Gaoligong Mountain, have been listed in the Man and Biosphere Reverses Network by UNESCO. 4 national and provincial nature reserves have been listed in the Wetlands of International Importance, namely Dasha

9、nbao of Zhaotong City, Napa Lake and Bita Lake of Shangrila County, Lashi Lake of Lijiang City. The Three-paralleled Rivers in northwest of Yunnan and Stone Forest have been listed as World Natural Heritages. More than 10 botanical gardens and arboretums, and 10 more wildlife domestication and repro

10、duction centers and rescue houses have been built up to conserve wildlife. Conservation on embryo, soma, germ cell and germ plasm of animals and plants has contributed to world biodiversity conservation.In order to achieve sound and sustainable economic development and social progress in Yunnan, the

11、 “Initiative to Protect Colorful Yunnan” has been launched and implemented in an all-round way in the province, for the purpose of promoting a harmonious co-existence for human and nature, and a wellcoordinated development between socio-economy and environment. The opening of the forum will exert ve

12、ry positive and important influence on promotion of international cooperation, sustainable utilization and conservation on biodiversity. Lets join our hands, admire the nature, protect our environment, promote our culture, and carry on the history! At last, on behalf of the Peoples Government of Yunnan Province, please allow me to extend our sincere appreciation to SEPA, ADB, EC and GTZ, and to all institutes, organizations, and personnels from home
