whether和if使用方法分析附習(xí)題

1、I.whether 和 if 均可用來(lái)引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)從句，但 if 引導(dǎo)的從句不能位于句首。2.whether 和 if 均可用來(lái)引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句。如：Idontknowwhether/ifIwillbeabletocome.我不知道我是否能來(lái).Sheaskedmewhether/ifIwasinterestedinworkingforher.她問(wèn)我是否有興趣為她工作。Wellbetoldtomorrowwhetherweshouldtaketheexamornot.我們明天才知道是不是應(yīng)該參加考試Iaskedhimwhetherhehaddonealltheworkhimselforwhetherhe

2、hadhadanyassistance.我問(wèn)他這些工作都是他自己做的還是別人幫他做的.（注意：在兩個(gè)供選擇的從句之間若用 or 字，則須重復(fù) whether 一字.）注：當(dāng)強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語(yǔ)從句并將其提前時(shí)只能用 whethero如:Whethe 門(mén)llhavetimetogowithyouIamnotsure.我很難說(shuō)我們是否有時(shí)間跟你們一起去。從句作介詞賓語(yǔ)時(shí)只用 whether 不用 if。如:Shewasundecidedaboutwhethersheshouldaccepthisoffer 她拿不定主意應(yīng)該不應(yīng)該接受他的好意（3）當(dāng) whether 和 ornot 連用時(shí)，只用 whether

3、 不用 if。當(dāng) ornot 放在 whether 引導(dǎo)的從句句尾，則可以用 if 來(lái)替換。如：Idontknowwhetherornothewillcome 我不知道他是不是回來(lái)。Illbehappywhether/ifIgetthejobornot 我能不能得到那份工作都一樣高興當(dāng) whether 和 or 連用表示明確的選擇時(shí)，只用 whether 不用 if。如:HeaskedmewhetherIwantedtogotherebytrainorbybus.他問(wèn)我是想乘火車(chē)還是坐公共汽車(chē)去那里。Hehesitatedaboutwhetherheshoulddriveortakethetr
