Book 1 Unit 1 Nice to meet you!一、單元內(nèi)容分析 本單元是學(xué)生進(jìn)入中職學(xué)習(xí)的第一單元,單元主題是問(wèn)候禮儀,主要包括對(duì)個(gè)人基本信息的詢問(wèn)和表達(dá)、制作個(gè)人名片、了解不同國(guó)家的常見(jiàn)問(wèn)候方式,同時(shí)還將對(duì)Be動(dòng)詞的一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)進(jìn)行回顧性學(xué)習(xí);激發(fā)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣是本單元的教學(xué)關(guān)鍵點(diǎn)。教師在教學(xué)過(guò)程中應(yīng)充分引導(dǎo)學(xué)生重新認(rèn)識(shí)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的目的在于更好的了解別國(guó)文化、明確口語(yǔ)交際和表達(dá)能力在中職階段的重要性。教師可以利用學(xué)生的年齡、專業(yè)、地域等特點(diǎn)開(kāi)展相應(yīng)的教學(xué)活動(dòng),比如:利用頭腦風(fēng)暴法搜集不同國(guó)家見(jiàn)面問(wèn)候的不同方式的素材,開(kāi)展如招呼用語(yǔ)集錦、刨根問(wèn)底探隱私、名片欄目大薈萃等活動(dòng)。結(jié)合本單元的教學(xué)主題,教師還可以開(kāi)展最佳見(jiàn)面禮儀表演(側(cè)重于聽(tīng)說(shuō))、最佳名片設(shè)計(jì)評(píng)比(側(cè)重于讀寫(xiě))等豐富的教學(xué)活動(dòng)。本單元設(shè)計(jì)分為4個(gè)課時(shí):第一課時(shí) Lead in + Listening and speaking第二課時(shí) Reading and writing第三課時(shí)Grammar focus (Verb “be” Pronouns)第四課時(shí)Vocabulary practice + Supplementaryreading二、分課時(shí)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)第一課時(shí) Lead in + Listening and speaking(一)教材分析1教學(xué)內(nèi)容本課時(shí)系英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)教程 1第一單元的第一課時(shí),包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking兩部分,具體內(nèi)容為:了解常見(jiàn)的問(wèn)候方式,聽(tīng)懂并掌握交流個(gè)人信息的相關(guān)詞匯和句型。2教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)教學(xué)重點(diǎn)聽(tīng)懂并掌握交流個(gè)人信息的詞匯、句型;主要見(jiàn)面問(wèn)候方式的英語(yǔ)表達(dá);教學(xué)難點(diǎn)交流個(gè)人信息的詞匯、句型(二)教學(xué)目標(biāo)1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo)(1) 識(shí)記并掌握關(guān)于問(wèn)候方式的基本短語(yǔ),如:kiss on the cheeks,shake hands,say hello to the guest,make a respectful bow,hug each other 識(shí)記并掌握提供或詢問(wèn)個(gè)人信息時(shí)所使用的句型,如:1) About greeting:Nice to meet you.Glad to meet you.2) About personal information:Id like to introduce myself.Where do you come from?Where are you from?Which company are you from?What do you do?I come from Im a student from a vocational school.2. 能力目標(biāo)(1) 學(xué)生能聽(tīng)懂關(guān)于問(wèn)候方式的短語(yǔ)。(2) 學(xué)生能靈活運(yùn)用關(guān)于交流個(gè)人信息的關(guān)鍵句型。3. 情感目標(biāo)(1) 在師生間、生生間建立融洽的關(guān)系,學(xué)生能逐步了解英語(yǔ)在跨國(guó)交流中的橋梁作用。(2) 學(xué)生能理解在問(wèn)候和其他生活場(chǎng)景中學(xué)會(huì)“入鄉(xiāng)隨俗”的重要性。(三)教學(xué)步驟Step One Lead-in 1. The teacher greets the students and tries to know more about them: Good morning. Nice to meet you. Im your new English teacher. May I have your name, please? Which school are you from? 教師和學(xué)生之間交流時(shí)可配合握手等身體語(yǔ)言。(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師熟悉班集體,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生大膽發(fā)言,在自然交流中導(dǎo)入本單元重點(diǎn)。)2. Activity 1 Match and think.(1)Brainstorm:How do people greet each other in foreign countries? Possible answers: shake hands, bow to each other, kiss, hug (The teacher collects different answers on the blackboard)(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:頭腦風(fēng)暴,團(tuán)隊(duì)競(jìng)賽。師生可以快速搜集多種問(wèn)候方式,并讓全體同學(xué)盡快掌握,進(jìn)入新單元學(xué)習(xí)。)(2) Match the phrases with the pictures. And the students read the phrases after the teacher. kiss on the cheeks,shake hands,say hello to the guest,make a respectful bow,hug each other(3) List the countries on the blackboard. How do the Japanese/American/Chinese people greet each other?(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:熟悉主要的問(wèn)候方式,為聽(tīng)說(shuō)練習(xí)做準(zhǔn)備。)Step Two Listening and speaking 1. Activity 2. Listen and circle. Listen to the dialogue and circle the two countries from the list on the blackboard. The teacher tells the students their listening task before listening, sharing one of the listening skills. (We always read the questions before listening in order to make sure what we should pay attention while listening.) (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:對(duì)對(duì)話形成初步印象,了解對(duì)話的主題。)2. Activity 3. Listen and choose. Listen to the dialogue again. Before listening, the teacher asks the students to read the three comprehensive questions and tells the students we should pay more attention to the key words and phrases according to the questions.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:再聽(tīng)對(duì)話,利用聽(tīng)力前時(shí)間閱讀聽(tīng)力問(wèn)題,同時(shí)通過(guò)第二遍聽(tīng)力,明確對(duì)話內(nèi)容。)3. Activity 4. Listen and fill.The teacher encourages the students to fill in the blanks. Then the students listen to the dialogue for the third time.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:第三遍聽(tīng)力之前,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生嘗試填寫(xiě)空格上缺失的單詞,之后再播放聽(tīng)力資料,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題去聽(tīng)懂對(duì)話細(xì)節(jié)的技巧。必要時(shí)可以在每一句聽(tīng)力朗讀后予以暫停便于學(xué)生填寫(xiě)單詞。)4. Activity 5. Listen and repeat(1) Encourage the students to read the dialogue in groups/pairs.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生在跟讀錄音前嘗試分組或搭檔朗讀對(duì)話,在本環(huán)節(jié),教師可適當(dāng)忽視學(xué)生發(fā)音錯(cuò)誤,以鼓勵(lì)為主,同時(shí)可以發(fā)掘班級(jí)中在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中的優(yōu)生及學(xué)困生。)(2) Ask Ss to read after the audio sentence by sentence and pay attention to imitate the tone of the audio. (Or read after the teacher if necessary.) Then Ss read altogether(or in groups) by themselves.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖: 通過(guò)逐句跟讀、集體朗讀、分組朗讀,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生正確的語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生模仿英美原音語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣。)(3)T: Wang Feng talks about custom with his new friend. Which topics will you choose to chat with a foreign friend? Where do you come from? What do you do?Its a nice day. (4) The teacher leads students to conclude: Do in Rome as the Romans do.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:引導(dǎo)學(xué)生總結(jié)適合與外賓的交流的話題,總結(jié)入鄉(xiāng)隨俗的基本原則,幫助學(xué)生感受文化差異。)5. Activity 6. Practice and act.Have students make conversation with their partners according to these sentence patterns. The teacher will give an example if its necessary. Then ask some pairs to demonstrate their performances (greet each other and ask for personal information)(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生操練本單元重點(diǎn)句型,教師予以適當(dāng)?shù)募m正,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在基本句型上進(jìn)行拓展和自由發(fā)揮,既操練了英語(yǔ),鍛煉了學(xué)生的膽量,也增進(jìn)了解。)Step Three Production1. Think of ten ways of greetings.Hi.Hello.Hows it going?How do you do?How are things?How are you?Havent seen you for ages.Great to see you again.Nice to meet you.Good morning./ Good afternoon./ Good evening.(設(shè)計(jì)意圖: 通過(guò)小組競(jìng)賽的方式,集思廣益讓學(xué)生羅列10條問(wèn)候語(yǔ),并請(qǐng)學(xué)生當(dāng)堂記憶。 明確數(shù)量,可以幫助學(xué)生記憶。)2. T: What else would you like to know about your classmates? Ask your classmates some questions and get to know your classmates. e.g. What is your favorite animal? What is your favorite city in China? What is your favorite color? What is your favorite day of the week? Why? What is your favorite drink? What is your favorite vegetable? Whats your favorite word in English? Why do you like it? Who is your favorite actor? Who is your favorite actress? Who is your favorite athlete? Who is your favorite singer? What is your best friends name? Who is your favorite teacher? Why? What is your favorite subject in school?(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用調(diào)查、詢問(wèn)的方式來(lái)獲取同學(xué)信息,問(wèn)題的設(shè)置迎合學(xué)生的口味,促使活動(dòng)順利開(kāi)展;請(qǐng)學(xué)生當(dāng)堂匯報(bào)采訪結(jié)果,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)和聽(tīng)力以及語(yǔ)言組織能力。課后要求學(xué)生以提綱形式介紹班上一位同學(xué),并在班級(jí)英語(yǔ)角展出。該環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)也是為了下次課聽(tīng)說(shuō)環(huán)節(jié)中自我介紹的學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。)3. T: Weve learned 5 different greeting ways. Do you know more greeting ways? Would you like to show these greeting ways with your classmates?(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:小結(jié)世界各地的問(wèn)候禮儀,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生上臺(tái)表演,師生可共同評(píng)出最具舞臺(tái)表現(xiàn)力的學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生感受到英語(yǔ)課堂的趣味性。)Step Four Summary Make a short summary of what weve learned today.(1) Key phrases: kiss on the cheeks,shake hands,say hello to the guest,make a respectful bow,hug each other(2) Useful sentence patterns about greetings and personal information.
