Period three 烏魯木齊市第92中學(xué) 何蕾艷【教材分析】本堂課是八年級(jí)(下)Unit 7 Section A 的第三課時(shí),是一節(jié)閱讀課。語(yǔ)篇圍繞攀登珠穆朗瑪峰展開(kāi),學(xué)習(xí)相關(guān)詞匯,并復(fù)習(xí)形容詞和副詞的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)。通過(guò)完成各項(xiàng)閱讀任務(wù),訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀抓關(guān)鍵詞總結(jié)段落大意的能力,能夠以表格的形式整理文章內(nèi)容,并利用它復(fù)述課文。在了解登山知識(shí)的同時(shí),學(xué)生能體會(huì)登山者勇于探索、不畏艱險(xiǎn)的拼搏精神?!緦W(xué)生分析】我所執(zhí)教的班級(jí)是隨機(jī)抽取的八年級(jí)(7)班,共有學(xué)生36人。通過(guò)課前接觸發(fā)現(xiàn),學(xué)生雖已經(jīng)有一定的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力,能夠讀懂簡(jiǎn)單的文章。但部分學(xué)生的基礎(chǔ)仍比較薄弱,口語(yǔ)能力差,不具備接受全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的能力。但學(xué)生對(duì)地理知識(shí)很感興趣,并且已經(jīng)掌握了一些介紹地理知識(shí)的詞匯。針對(duì)學(xué)生的這些特點(diǎn),我將閱讀難度由填寫句子改成單詞或短語(yǔ),通過(guò)獨(dú)立完成和小組討論相結(jié)合,降低閱讀難度;把單獨(dú)回答問(wèn)題改成全班集體作答,讓自信的孩子來(lái)帶動(dòng)想說(shuō)而又不敢出聲的學(xué)生,讓他們從活動(dòng)中獲取學(xué)習(xí)的成就感,逐步建立起學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的自信心?!窘虒W(xué)設(shè)計(jì)】一、Teaching Aims1. My dear little teachers!設(shè)計(jì)意圖:隨機(jī)抽班上課,與學(xué)生彼此陌生。但課前調(diào)查了學(xué)生的學(xué)情,發(fā)現(xiàn)他們對(duì)地理知識(shí)掌握的很扎實(shí),用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)卻很困難。抓住這一特點(diǎn),師生互相學(xué)習(xí),不僅拉近彼此距離,活躍課堂氣氛 ;還激發(fā)了學(xué)生盡量用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)自己的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。Greet the teacher and get ready for the class.Step II Lead-in 21. Pre-reading 101. Show pictures of Qomolangma about its backgrounds to present and learn new words and phrases. Have Ss try to fill in the blanks or say the phrases by themselves. Learn words about location. ( run along, southeastern) Learn words about weather condition. ( heavy storms, thick snow and clouds, freezing weather conditions, hard to take in air, the forces of nature) Learn more words. ( in the face of difficulties, challenge themselves, never give up, achieve their dreams, succeed)2. Show the new words again. Read and have Ss repeat. Pay attention to the difficult words. ( southeastern, thick, freezing, conditions, challenge, achieve, achievement, succeed ) Check whether the Ss can read these words correctly if necessary.3. Give Ss 2 minutes to remember the new words. Then play a game. Flash each word and Ss say it quickly.4. Congratulate Ss that they have taken the first step toward the top of the mountain.
